The Grammy winning rapper, 32, announced on CBS Mornings on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, that she is expecting her fourth child her first with boyfriend, New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs, 31.
“I’m having a baby with my boyfriend, Stefon Diggs,” Cardi B told host Gayle King in the pre-taped interview, smiling as she shared the news. “I’m excited, I’m happy. I feel like I’m in such a good space right now. I feel strong, I feel powerful, and I’m doing all this work while creating a baby.”
Cardi B, born Belcalis Almánzar, is already mom to three children with her estranged husband, rapper Offset: daughter Kulture Kiari, 7, son Wave Set, 4, and daughter Blossom Belle, who was born in September 2024. Offset also has three other children from previous relationships.
Diggs, meanwhile, is father to an 8-year-old daughter, Nova, born in 2016.
The couple has been linked since late 2024 but went public in May 2025 when they attended a Boston Celtics vs. New York Knicks game together at Madison Square Garden after months of speculation.
Cardi explained that she kept her pregnancy private until she was ready:
“I just wanted to say it on my own time. I wasn’t hiding, but I wanted to make sure everything was healthy and secure first. Even my parents don’t know yet!” she joked, adding that her family already likes Diggs.
Opening up about their relationship, Cardi praised Diggs for making her feel safe and confident. “He just makes me feel so secure, both emotionally and physically. When I was stressing and crying about my album rollout, he reminded me to stay strong and keep going. That kind of support makes you feel like you can take over the world.”
Before signing off, the “Bodak Yellow” rapper had a message for her fans:
“Now y’all know I’m a mother of four so go buy my album so I can buy Pampers and diapers!” she said with a laugh.
Cardi’s fourth baby is due before her tour kicks off in February 2026.
