The 69th edition of the prestigious Ballon d’Or ceremony is officially set to take place on September 22, 2025, at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris, France. The historic venue will once again host football’s most glamorous night, where the world’s top players gather to see who will be crowned the best in the game.

Organized by France Football, the ceremony will honor the best footballers of the 2024–25 season, including awards for the best male and female players, the Kopa Trophy for the best under-21 player, and the Yashin Trophy for the top goalkeeper.

While the official shortlist is yet to be announced, early favorites for the 2025 Ballon d’Or include Ousmane Dembélé, Vinícius Júnior, Lamine Yamal, and Kylian Mbappé, all of whom have delivered standout performances this season.
