Singer and activist John Legend surprised fans in a new Instagram video by saying he hopes Us President Donald Trump will one day win the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize but only if he makes sweeping changes to his leadership approach.

Legend said that a peace deal between lsrael and Gaza would be a “good start,” but added that Trump would also need to withdraw the National Guard from U.S. cities, end ICE raids that terrorize immigrant Communities, and halt missile strikes abroad.

“I’m choosing to be positive now,” Legend added, suggesting that encouragement might achieve what opposition could not
