Rapper Tory Lanez is currently recovering after surviving a vicious prison attack that left him with severe injuries. As of Thursday morning, it has been confirmed that he has been transferred to California Men’s Colony (CMC) a facility located near San Luis Obispo in an effort to ensure his safety.
This move comes after Lanez was reportedly stabbed 14 times at the California Correctional Institution (CCI), causing both of his lungs to collapse. The violent incident prompted authorities to take immediate action and relocate him to a safer environment nearly three hours away.
According to his attorney, Crystal Morgan, the “Color Violet” artist is doing as well as can be expected given the extent of his injuries. However, she notes that he is not entirely happy about being moved to CMC.
