Canadian rapper and singer Tory Lanez was reportedly stabbed Monday morning at the exercise yard of the California Correctional Institution in Tehachapi.
According to reports from TMZ, Lanez was urgently transported to a hospital in Bakersfield to receive medical treatment. Fortunately, the injuries sustained are not believed to be life-threatening.
As of now, prison officials have not released an official statement regarding the cause of the incident or Lanez’s current condition.
Tory Lanez, whose real name is Daystar Peterson, is currently serving a prison sentence after being convicted in the high-profile shooting case involving fellow rapper Megan Thee Stallion in 2020.
