As the CAF Confederation Cup final approaches, Simba SC’s spokesperson Ahmed Ally has declared the club’s unwavering ambition to win the prestigious title, emphasizing their desire to be the last team to receive medals – a position reserved for champions.

“We want to be the last to receive medals during the ceremony, because the runners-up are the first to be awarded. We want to wear the gold medal. This is not child’s play – it’s a serious mission. From now on, every Simba fan must be ready to fight,” said Ahmed Ally

Speaking about the upcoming final, Ahmed stressed that Simba SC is determined to make it the most high-profile and glamorous final ever held on the continent – even more talked about than the CAF Champions League final.

“We want our final to have a higher status than any other final that has ever taken place. We want the Confederation Cup final to attract more global attention than the Champions League final,” he stated.

He further revealed that the club is planning strategic marketing initiatives and impactful events to ensure the match becomes a major spectacle not just in Africa, but globally.

The final, which will be played in Dar es Salaam, is seen as a historic opportunity for Simba SC to clinch their first-ever CAF Confederation Cup title and etch their name in African football history.

Will Simba rise to the occasion and bring the trophy home? The countdown has begun.
