Tottenham Hotspur have completed the signing of French international striker Randal Kolo Muani from Paris Saint-Germain on a season-long loan deal.
The agreement was finalized after days of talks between the two clubs. Importantly, the loan does not include a buy option clause, meaning the 25-year-old will return to PSG at the end of the season unless further negotiations take place. Spurs will pay a €5 million loan fee and are set to cover the player’s full salary during his stay in North London.
Kolo Muani, who only joined PSG from Eintracht Frankfurt in 2023 for around €95 million, endured a mixed spell at the Parc des Princes, struggling for consistency in front of goal while competing with stars like Kylian Mbappé and Gonçalo Ramos. A move to the Premier League offers him a fresh opportunity to regain confidence and regular minutes.
For Tottenham, the deal represents an important addition to Ange Postecoglou’s squad depth. With the club competing on multiple fronts this season, the French striker’s pace, versatility, and pressing ability could prove crucial. He is expected to slot in either as a central striker or in wide attacking roles, giving Spurs more options in their frontline.
Fans are already debating whether Kolo Muani’s arrival could be the missing piece for Spurs’ attack. While some see it as a low-risk, high-reward signing, others note the absence of a purchase option may limit long-term benefits.
Still, the Frenchman’s talent and experience at both club and international level make him an exciting acquisition.
