MetLife Stadium, July 9, 2025 – Paris Saint-Germain produced a masterclass performance to demolish Real Madrid 4-0 in the semi-final of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, securing a place in Sunday’s final against Chelsea.

PSG stormed into the lead early, with Fabián Ruiz scoring twice (6’, 24’) and Ousmane Dembélé adding another in the 9th minute to make it 3-0 before the half-hour mark. The French champions dominated possession and punished Madrid’s defensive disarray with pace and precision.

Real Madrid offered little resistance. Their aggressive lineup and high pressing left gaping holes at the back, which PSG exploited with ease. Thibaut Courtois made several crucial saves to keep the scoreline from ballooning in the first half, but the damage was already done.

Tempers flared within the Madrid camp as frustrations grew. Jude Bellingham was seen confronting Kylian Mbappé after a careless turnover, symbolizing the disjointed and disappointing performance from the Spanish giants.

In the 87th minute, substitute Gonçalo Ramos sealed the rout with a composed finish following a quick PSG counterattack, making it 4-0 and completing one of the most dominant performances in Club World Cup history.

Real Madrid head coach Xabi Alonso looked furious on the sidelines as his team fell apart defensively and failed to create a single big chance throughout the match.

PSG will now face Chelsea in the final as they look to win the Club World Cup for the first time in the club’s history.

Full-Time: Paris Saint-Germain 4-0 Real Madrid
Goals: Fabián Ruiz (6’, 24’), Ousmane Dembélé (9’), Gonçalo Ramos (87’)
