The 2025 BET Awards are set to return in grand style on Monday, June 9, at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, commemorating the 25th anniversary of the celebrated awards show. Hosted by comedian and actor Kevin Hart—who last hosted in 2011—the ceremony promises a star-studded night of music, culture, and unforgettable performances.
BET has announced the first wave of artists confirmed to take the stage, including hip-hop heavyweight Lil Wayne, multi-talented entertainer Teyana Taylor, rising rap star GloRilla, genre-bending performer Playboi Carti, and singer-songwriter Leon Thomas.
In a special highlight, the show will feature a tribute to the iconic music countdown show 106 & Park, creatively directed by Teyana Taylor and her production company, The Aunties. This nostalgic moment will bring together artists who helped define the era, such as Bow Wow, Amerie, B2K, Jim Jones, Mya, and T.I.
