Renowned Tanzanian sports personality and CEO of ManaraTV, Haji Manara has opened up about his relationship status and his views on the rumored marriage between music stars Diamond Platnumz and Zuchu.
Speaking in a recent interview, Manara revealed that he is currently in a relationship and intends to get married when the time is right. “Once I find the right woman, I will definitely get married — and it will be a grand affair,” he stated. He added that when the time comes, he will introduce his partner to the public.
Commenting on the widely discussed rumors surrounding the marriage of Diamond and Zuchu, Manara expressed his trust in Sheikh Walid, his religious mentor, who was reportedly involved in the union. “I trust Sheikh Walid because of his religious knowledge and integrity. He wouldn’t participate in a publicity stunt,” Manara said, dismissing claims that the marriage could be fake or just for show.
Manara went on to question why some Tanzanians seem unhappy about Zuchu getting married. “What’s wrong with Zuchu getting married? It seems like some people don’t like seeing others happy,” he remarked.
Addressing the confusion stirred by a cryptic social media post by Diamond, Manara praised the singer’s intelligence. “Diamond is a smart guy. He knows how to create attention. If he can produce over 100 hit songs, why would generating buzz be a challenge for him?” Manara said.
In a surprising twist, Manara also revealed that if Diamond had not married Zuchu and they were not close friends, he himself would have pursued Zuchu by formally approaching her mother, veteran singer Khadija Kopa, with a marriage proposal. “Zuchu has all the qualities of an ideal wife,” Manara declared.
