Former Simba SC goalkeeper Aishi Salum Manula has officially returned to Azam FC after his contract with Simba expired. The experienced shot-stopper, who enjoyed tremendous success during his time with Simba, has signed a new deal with Azam FC that will keep him at the club until 2028.
Manula, once a fan favorite and key figure in Simba’s domestic and continental campaigns, had been sidelined for extended periods due to recurring injuries. His return to Azam marks a homecoming, as the goalkeeper previously played for the club before joining Simba.
Azam FC confirmed the signing through their official channels, expressing confidence in Manula’s ability to bring experience and stability to their squad ahead of the new season.
