Hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs has secured yet another legal win as serious allegations of sexual abuse continue to fall apart. Following three recent legal victories last week, Diddy has now succeeded in having multiple claims dismissed in a civil lawsuit filed by a woman named Lampros, who accused him of raping her multiple times during the 1990s.
According to newly obtained court documents shared by TMZ, Lampros’ claims of assault, rape, and infliction of emotional distress have officially been dropped. Additionally, Bad Boy Records — which was named in the lawsuit for allegedly enabling the abuse — has also been removed as a defendant.
What remains in the case is a single allegation under New York’s Adult Survivors Act. Lampros alleges that between 2000 and 2001, Diddy encountered her on the street in New York, followed her to her home, and attempted to assault her — but she managed to fight him off and escape.
Diddy’s legal team has welcomed the dismissal of the majority of the claims as a major step forward. Meanwhile, Lampros’ attorney, Tyrone Blackburn, emphasized that the case is far from over, calling the remaining claim a victory in its own right — although momentum now seems to favor Diddy.
This latest court win comes shortly after Diddy was cleared of federal criminal charges related to alleged sex trafficking and conspiracy. He now only faces minor prostitution-related claims in that case.
In a statement obtained by TMZ, Diddy’s lawyers said: “Mr. Combs has never raped anyone nor participated in sex trafficking. He will continue to fight until he is fully vindicated.”
While the lawsuit continues, it’s clear that Diddy is gaining ground in the courtroom — and shows no signs of backing down.
