American singer Christopher Maurice Brown, widely known as Chris Brown (Breezy), will remain in custody in the United Kingdom until June 13 following a recent court decision. The ruling was made earlier today by Judge Joanne Hirst at Southwark Crown Court in London.
Judge Hirst denied Brown’s bail application submitted by his attorney, citing conditions that prohibit him from leaving custody until the scheduled court hearing.
Chris Brown was recently arrested in Manchester in connection with an alleged assault that took place in 2023. According to reports, the singer is accused of attacking music producer Abe Diaw by hitting him on the head with a bottle at a nightclub in London.
